A law firm seeks a Litigation Trial Attorney in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients and possess strong organizational and communication skills. This role involves preparing and trying cases, with a focus on achieving fair compensation for clients.

Duties

• Skillfully try cases, present evidence, and make arguments.
• Prepare thoroughly by reviewing pleadings, evidence, and timelines.
• Handle motion practice, discovery, and trial presentations.
• Conduct depositions and manage Daubert challenges and Motions in Limine.

Requirements

• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in civil litigation.
• Experience with at least 5 civil jury trials to verdict.
• Admitted to the U.S. Middle District of Florida.

Education

• Preferred: Graduate of the Keenan Trial Institute, Gerry Spence Method, or the Trial Lawyers College.

Certifications

• Preferred: Board Certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer.

Skills

• Strong legal research and understanding of Florida law and civil procedure.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Proposals for Settlements and Offers for Judgments.
• Medical knowledge pertinent to personal injury litigation.
• Proficient in typing at least 35 words per minute.
• Comfortable with computers and technology.
