Part-Time Paralegal

The candidate will provide assistance to attorneys representing Flint Group regarding corporate, real estate, and transactional matters. Primarily supports corporate, real estate, sales, and supply chain legal matters. Maintains the corporate organizational chart for Flint Group and its affiliates, and governing documents for those entities. Creates and files organizational documents including articles of incorporation, articles of organization, assumed name, and dissolution certificates. Performs contract drafting, tracking and maintenance including, but not limited to, confidentiality agreements, bylaws, operating agreements, corporate resolutions, real estate leases and purchase agreements. Reviews and revises contracts and other legal documents for accuracy and compliance. Drafts memoranda, reports, and correspondence for internal and external use. Maintains and updates approved template documents. Conducts legal and factual research including public and internal record searches. Monitors and reports on changes in applicable laws, regulations, and governmental guidance. Gathers data for filings, transactions, investigations and reporting. Coordinates document migration projects for shared database. Assists with maintenance of the contract management system and the departmental document database, as needed. Demonstrates proficiency in understanding corporate entity structure and relationships among subsidiaries and affiliates to manage corporate governance and related documents. Interfaces diplomatically with internal and external individuals to expedite services and facilitate requests. Performs other functions to assist in the effective operation of the Flint Group North America and Global Legal Department as otherwise requested.
