The role includes oversight of a high-volume practice and a team of attorneys and support staff, with the goal of achieving optimal case outcomes through strategic litigation and recovery management.

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of attorneys and paralegals within the subrogation division

• Develop and implement case strategies to maximize recoveries in complex subrogation matters

• Oversee litigation from inception to resolution, including trial management

• Ensure compliance with legal standards, court procedures, and ethical obligations

• Collaborate with forensic experts, engineers, and insurance professionals to build liability arguments

• Enhance operational workflows and use technology to increase efficiency and productivity

• Conduct regular performance reviews and mentoring sessions to support staff development

• Design and facilitate training programs to maintain up-to-date legal knowledge across the team

• Serve as the primary point of escalation for high-value or complex litigation cases

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, including subrogation and trial-related matters

• Proven leadership experience managing attorneys and legal support teams in a high-volume setting

• Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach

• Demonstrated ability to lead remote teams and foster collaboration

• Experience with case management systems and technology-enhanced litigation practices

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in both:

  • New York

  • New Jersey

• Additional state admissions are a plus
