A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate in New York to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on complex commercial litigation matters, collaborating with colleagues in both New York and New Jersey offices. Duties

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters for clients in New York and New Jersey.
• Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, and take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and briefs.
• Participate in client meetings, strategy sessions, and case development.
• Contribute to trial preparation, arbitration hearings, and appellate briefing.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop creative litigation strategies.
• Work with colleagues across offices for consistent client representation.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey, or eligible to waive into New Jersey Bar.
• 2-6 years of litigation experience in a law firm or similar environment.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional client service.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
