A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join their team in Providence, RI. This role offers remote work options following initial training and integration. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in insurance coverage or general litigation and must be licensed to practice law in one of the firm's operating states, with a preference for Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, or Tennessee.

Duties

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements

• 12+ years of practice experience in insurance coverage or general litigation.
• Licensed to practice law in one of the firm's operating states.
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team structure.
• Initiative and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent.

Certifications

• Bar license in one of the firm's operating states.
