A law firm in Houston is seeking an associate with 3-6 years of experience to support its Labor & Employment Practice in Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment or complex litigation defense, including class and representative actions, single-plaintiff actions, traditional labor law, and/or employment counseling. Strong writing, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across offices are essential.

Duties:

• Handle employment and complex litigation defense, including class and representative actions.
• Provide counsel on traditional labor law and employment matters.
• Work on single-plaintiff actions and employment counseling cases.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple offices.
• Contribute to the growing Labor & Employment practice.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience with class actions, labor law, and employment counseling is preferred.
• Order of the Coif, law review, or clerkship experience is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Texas State Bar (or eligibility for licensure).
