Staff Attorney – Community Justice Clinic

RESPONSIBILITIES: Will perform a wide range of lawyering activities. Will represent clients in all of the IR Clinic’s substantive legal areas (Social Security disability, wage and hour, unemployment, and clean slate), as well as other areas in which IR clients may need legal assistance. In addition to managing their own case load, the attorney will also be responsible for interacting with referral agencies and interviewing potential clients, reviewing case files of potential clients, assisting in clinic cases during the semester and handling them after the semester, drafting and updating student training materials, assisting in workshops and trainings for students, and conducting legal research.
