The candidate provides a wide range of legal policy and process support for the Legal Department. Duties include overseeing the contract submission and approval process, preparing and revising contracts and other legal documents, maintaining law library and legal reference materials, researches researching and analyzes analyzing source materials on legal issues such as statutes and cases, drafting policies and procedures, and other duties as directed by Chief Legal Officer. Provides general guidance to other departments relating to legal processes and policies. Provides guidance and direction to the executive administrative assistant regarding office practices, processing invoices, requests from outside attorneys and other vendors, establishing and maintaining Legal Department files and maintaining the MediTract Contract Management System (MediTract). Should have High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree in related field is needed. Bachelor's degree preferred. Should have 3+ years experience in executive or legal offices with relevant responsibilities. Prefer at least two years experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department with experience with MediTract or a web-based contract management system similar to MediTract.
