Job Overview: A prominent law firm based in Philadelphia is currently looking to hire an Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of legal experience, with a strong interest in handling complex insurance-related litigation matters. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site, allowing for flexibility in work-life balance.

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense matters, including litigation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Draft and review legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategies for complex cases.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Maintain active communication with clients, ensuring timely updates and addressing inquiries.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and prepare for trials.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (required).
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is a plus.
• 0-5 years of experience in law, particularly in defense or litigation.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Pennsylvania Bar License (required).
• New Jersey Bar License (preferred).

Skills:

• Legal research and writing proficiency.
• Strong oral communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
