Job Overview: A respected legal recruitment firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join a prominent law firm in Wenatchee, Washington. This position encompasses a broad range of legal areas, including litigation, municipal law, contract law, real estate/land use, employment, and estate planning. The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior attorneys and independently manage key aspects of legal cases, transactions, and compliance matters.

Duties:

• Support senior attorneys with drafting, analyzing, and interpreting legal agreements, contracts, and documents, including ordinances, resolutions, and policies.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Oversee intricate business transactions and closings.
• Prepare and draft correspondence, pleadings, briefs, and additional legal documents.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including electronic data handling and document review.
• Conduct and assist in depositions, motion practice, and court hearings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and provide in-court trial support.
• Offer legal counsel to ensure client compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Devise strategies and negotiate effective solutions for client matters.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with prospective and current clients.
• Execute tasks independently to meet client goals.

Requirements:

• Must hold an active Washington State Bar license.
• Open to applicants at all levels of experience.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Washington State Bar licensure is mandatory.
