Litigation Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Santa Ana, CA, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with 5-15 years of experience in commercial litigation, including business and real estate disputes, breach of contract, trade secrets, intellectual property, and securities litigation.

Duties:

• Represent clients in various litigation proceedings, including but not limited to court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis of complex legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document production and review.
• Attend depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a reputable law school.
• Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• 5-15 years of demonstrated experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters effectively.
• Strong understanding of business and real estate law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Certifications:

• Certification in Business or Real Estate Law (preferred but not required).
