Duties

• Manage all mass tort cases, including litigations and bankruptcy.
• Supervise and manage department support staff and paralegals.
• Collaborate with paralegals during investigative stages of cases.
• Monitor statutes of limitations.
• Oversee completion of preliminary discovery.
• Review and interpret medical records.
• Communicate with clients and co-counsel firms promptly.
• Make filing decisions and oversee the filing process.
• Monitor filed dockets for new orders.
• Ensure compliance with court orders.
• Create and review reports on mass tort campaigns.
• Provide regular updates on mass torts to the firm.
• Oversee settlement programs as they arise.
• Report daily activities and conduct monthly file reviews.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Virginia State Bar membership.
• Licensed to practice in federal court.
• 7+ years of experience in mass tort litigation.
• Experience in product liability, pharmaceutical litigation, or similar complex litigation.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited college or university.

Certifications

• Active Virginia State Bar membership.
