Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Columbia, South Carolina, is seeking a licensed Closing Attorney to handle real estate closings in the local market. The successful candidate will be experienced in conducting real estate transactions, providing exceptional client service, and ensuring all legal aspects of property transfers are thoroughly handled.

Duties:

• Conduct real estate closing ceremonies with clients.
• Review title searches and examine recorded documents.
• Handle trusts, estates, and corporate documents relevant to property transactions.
• Provide professional legal advice to clients on real estate matters.

Requirements:

• Must hold an active license to practice law in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in real estate law or related fields.
• Familiarity with South Carolina’s real estate closing processes and legal documentation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a licensed attorney in South Carolina.

Certifications:

• Active South Carolina Bar membership.
