The role involves representing clients in a broad range of consumer-related disputes, managing all aspects of litigation from initial case assessment through trial and appeal. The attorney will provide strategic legal counsel, develop case strategies, and ensure the highest standard of representation for clients in both state and federal courts. Location: Mountain View, California.

Duties

• Represent clients in consumer-related disputes, including contract, warranty, and fraud claims.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, trial, and appeals.
• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies tailored to client objectives.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy and filings.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Collaborate with internal teams, experts, and co-counsel to achieve optimal case outcomes.

Requirements

• 20 years of experience in general consumer litigation.
• Proven record of successfully handling complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Strong trial and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to practice law in California and in good standing.
