Duties: File patent applications, preparation and filing of associated documents, management of prosecution through the life of the application; Perform management of, including obtaining signature on various documents like notarization and legalization of those documents, as required; Review correspondence and documents from outside counsel and the USPTO for accuracy; Maintain the electronic files and de-docket actions appropriatel, Perform docketing deadlines based on correspondence received from outside counsel and the USPTO; routinely monitor and update dockets; Generate due date reports for attorney review; Generate various reports from docketing system; Liaise with outside counsel regarding various matters; Assist with maintenance and searching of contract database to identify relevant contracts and to upload agreements upon attorney request; Create and open docket matters in the docketing and billing systems; Review incoming invoices for approval or rejection; Assist with special projects and other administrative tasks on an as needed basis.
