Job Overview:
A law firm based in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney through a legal recruiting partner. The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of litigation experience in diverse employment law matters. While experience with traditional labor issues is considered a plus, it is not a prerequisite. The role calls for a motivated, collaborative legal professional with exceptional credentials and the ability to manage complex matters within a team-oriented environment.

Duties:

• Handle litigation matters involving employment law claims across various forums

• Represent clients in matters involving workplace policies, discrimination, harassment, and wage-related disputes

• Conduct discovery, draft pleadings, and participate in motion practice

• Collaborate with partners and team members on strategy and case development

• Engage in legal research, draft legal memoranda, and prepare trial materials

• Attend court appearances, hearings, and depositions as needed

• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel with professionalism and clarity

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on litigation experience in employment law matters

• A background in traditional labor law is advantageous but not required

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced legal setting

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

• Proven record of collaboration and client-focused legal service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar

• Admission to additional state bars (e.g., IL, NY, DC) is considered a plus
