Job Overview:

Location:

Duties:
Provide counsel on U.S. bank regulatory issues and compliance matters
Work closely with attorneys across financial regulatory, litigation, and investigations practices
Handle individual and project-based regulatory matters involving domestic and international financial institutions
Engage directly with clients and regulatory bodies on compliance and operational risk issues
Support clients in navigating complex legal frameworks involving the Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC, and CFPB
Participate in cross-border matters, including occasional communication during international business hours
Requirements:
1–5 years of experience in financial regulatory law, compliance, or related areas
Prior work experience with a financial institution, regulatory agency, or financial services compliance firm is preferred but not required
Ability to manage client relationships and regulatory projects with professionalism and responsiveness
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the North Carolina State Bar preferred
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of academic achievement and analytical ability
Familiarity with U.S. banking regulations and financial services compliance frameworks
Capacity to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team
Comfort with managing regulatory timelines and international client communications
