Duties:

• Provide litigation support to senior attorneys and trial teams

• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and memoranda

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations

• Maintain regular client communication and case updates

• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with partners

• Review legal data and advise on potential outcomes

• Negotiate settlements and manage case resolution activities

• Ensure all actions comply with applicable laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation defense

• Admitted to the State Bar of California and in good standing

• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and documentation

• Capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines

• Confident in both written advocacy and oral argument

• Ability to maintain strong client relationships and case ownership

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active California Bar License (mandatory)

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing proficiency

• Strategic thinking and sound judgment

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities

• Detail-oriented with effective time management

• Comfortable with legal technology and AI-enhanced tools (e.g., Westlaw Precision, Co-Counsel AI)
