Job Overview:
A law firm in Addison, Texas, is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to provide legal counsel on complex real estate transactions and finance matters. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and financing of commercial properties. The ideal candidate will also offer strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, risk management, title review, and due diligence.

Location:

• Addison, Texas

Duties:

• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and lease agreements.
• Provide legal guidance on financing structures, including secured lending, joint ventures, and equity investments.
• Conduct due diligence and manage title and survey reviews for real estate transactions.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, zoning, environmental matters, and risk management.
• Represent clients in negotiations with lenders, developers, investors, and other parties.
• Assist in structuring and closing real estate and financing transactions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient deal completion.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance transactions.
• Strong knowledge of real estate law, commercial lending, and financial structuring.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close complex transactions.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
