Job Overview:
A law firm located in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking an experienced attorney for a full-time position focused on defending insurance-related litigation matters. The role offers a hybrid structure with significant work-from-home flexibility. This opportunity is ideal for a litigation professional with hands-on experience managing auto liability cases, including uninsured and underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims, from inception to resolution.

Duties:

• Represent insurers and their policyholders in motor vehicle accident claims, including UM/UIM matters

• Independently manage a caseload from assignment through resolution, including pre-trial and trial work

• Draft pleadings, handle discovery, prepare and argue motions

• Conduct depositions of parties and expert witnesses

• Participate in arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings

• Maintain communication with claims professionals in alignment with reporting protocols

• Analyze case value, risks, and strategy for resolution or litigation

Requirements:

• Prior experience with auto liability defense and UM/UIM litigation

• Demonstrated ability to manage files independently

• Strong understanding of litigation procedure and evidentiary standards

• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and insurance representatives

• Familiarity with reporting practices and expectations in insurance defense work

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is a plus
