Location:

Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of civil litigation matters

• Prepare initial case assessments and status reports

• Conduct motion practice and legal research

• Draft and respond to discovery requests

• Take and defend depositions

• Communicate directly with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel

• Track and record time accurately for billing purposes

• Provide guidance and oversight to junior associates

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of experience handling civil litigation matters in state and/or federal court

• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation independently and meet deadlines

• Prior experience with insurance defense preferred but not required

• Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in litigation strategy, motion practice, and case management

• Skilled in deposition practice and discovery

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases efficiently

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
