Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Structured Finance Of Counsel to join its finance group, specifically within the structured finance subgroup. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team across various locations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in structured finance, securitization, and CLO matters, with a proven track record of advising clients on complex transactions. This position also provides the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Advise clients on structured finance, securitization, and CLO transactions
• Draft, negotiate, and review financial agreements and related documentation
• Provide strategic legal counsel on regulatory issues affecting structured finance markets
• Manage and foster client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and success
• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complex issues
• Collaborate with senior partners and team members on high-profile transactions
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, supporting their professional development
• Support business development efforts, including networking and client outreach
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of legal services, meeting deadlines and client expectations

Requirements:

• Minimum 9 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, and CLO transactions
• Experience at a leading law firm, preferably within the AmLaw 100
• Proven track record in managing complex transactions and providing strategic legal advice
• Ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly and persuasively
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction.
