A law firm seeks a highly qualified and motivated mid-level associate to join its Real Estate group in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and experience in a law firm or similar environment, with excellent writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Duties

• Represent property owners and investors in complex real estate and finance transactions.
• Handle acquisition financings, mezzanine financings, construction financings, refinancings, and loan modifications.
• Draft and review core transaction documents.
• Manage transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in real estate debt transactions.
• Experience representing lenders or borrowers.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
