Duties

• Represent clients in criminal matters from initial appearance through resolution or trial

• Handle a wide range of cases, including DUI, misdemeanor, and felony offenses

• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare for hearings and trials

• Attend court appearances and effectively advocate on behalf of clients

• Collaborate with legal staff and attorneys to build effective defense strategies

• Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients and team members

• Contribute to the overall business development and success of the firm

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing criminal law in Maryland

• Demonstrated courtroom experience, including trials and motions practice

• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
