Duties

  • Appear in court for hearings and communicate with opposing counsel as needed

  • Ensure internal case management systems are updated with accurate findings and recommendations

  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local laws related to foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections

  • Exercise discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters

  • Contribute to quality assurance and process improvement as part of a detail-oriented legal team

Requirements

  • Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment

  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards for accuracy

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify corrective actions and solutions

  • No prior legal experience required, but preferred for applicants with exposure to litigation or compliance

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active Bar membership in the State of Ohio (required)

  • Admission in Kentucky is a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software

  • Legal research and document drafting skills
