Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney on behalf of a reputable law firm specializing in insurance defense. The firm represents individuals and companies across the State of Florida in a range of cases, including medical malpractice, personal injury, automobile negligence, and premises liability. This position offers practical litigation experience and an opportunity to grow within a well-established firm known for its successful mentorship program.

Duties:

• Conduct fact investigation and case strategy development.
• Collaborate with clients and collect necessary records.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Prepare cases for trial, including drafting legal documents and motions.
• Represent clients in insurance defense matters, including medical malpractice and personal injury cases.

Requirements:

• 3 to 7 years of experience in legal practice.
• Active Bar license in the State of Florida (required).
• Experience in personal injury law or insurance defense is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must possess an active Florida Bar license.

Skills:

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Experience with trial preparation and litigation.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay: Starting from $80,000 per year.
