Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced real estate attorney in Austin, TX. The attorney will support the property owner association section by preparing legal documents, drafting governing documents, ensuring compliance with state law, and managing lawsuits when necessary. The role reports to the managing partner for the property owner association section and serves as corporate counsel for assigned clients.

Duties

• Communicate with clients
• Supervise legal assistants
• Attend client board/member meetings
• Prepare and pursue judicial foreclosures
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal opinions, and court briefings

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Texas and the Western District of Texas
• 1+ years of work experience with court appearances
• Proficient with MS Office
• Able to maintain a full-time, in-person working schedule
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail
• Approachable with a customer service mentality
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
