Location:

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis for defense litigation cases.

• Draft legal briefs, motions, pleadings, and other essential documents.

• Assist in the preparation of discovery requests, responses, and motions.

• Manage and participate in all aspects of the litigation process, including depositions, hearings, and court representation.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and provide recommendations.

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in litigation.

• Conduct factual investigations, interview witnesses, and gather evidence to support defense strategies.

• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents to ensure effective defense representation.

• Maintain accurate and organized case files, including electronic documents and correspondence.

• Adhere to ethical and professional standards in accordance with the legal profession's code of conduct.

Requirements:

• Extensive first-chair trial experience.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.

• 7+ years of experience in defense litigation, preferably in insurance defense.

• Strong knowledge of civil procedure and rules of evidence.

• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Proven ability to handle a caseload independently and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

• Strong oral advocacy skills with courtroom experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated with a high level of professionalism and integrity.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
