Duties
- Manage and transition a client portfolio in collaboration with a senior partner.
- Prepare for and attend trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs.
- Prepare witnesses and experts for court proceedings.
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients.
- Stay informed on local, state, and federal law changes.
- Mentor junior attorneys in conflict resolution.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in Alabama.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in trucking, construction, and insurance litigation.
- Proven success in client development and retention.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with state and federal court procedures and requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and file management software.
- High ethical standards and confidentiality in client matters.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
