The candidate will support a Family Law Attorney with a heavy caseload in a law firm. Duties include, handle client management, discovery like propounding and responding, document preparation including drafting motions, pleading, court documents, etc. Calendaring and case follow-up is crucial. Understand the importance of prioritizing tasks based on deadlines while assisting clients. Experience and knowledge in Family Law is recommended. Exceptional organization skills and the ability to multi-task are a must. Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and other computer programs. Strong written and verbal communication skills are vital. Be familiar with court rules, procedures, pleading formatting and filing requirements or standards. Have an ability to speak politely and professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, employees.
