Duties

• Draft and design estate plans

• Assist with business transactions and entity formation

• Conduct legal research and analysis in tax, estate, and business law

• Interact directly with clients to assess needs and offer solutions

• Collaborate with a team of attorneys on trust administration and probate matters

• Contribute to the firm's ongoing relationships with multi-generational clients

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a law office setting

• Interest in developing expertise in estate planning and business transactions

• Commitment to working in a small firm environment without micromanagement

• Enthusiastic about long-term growth and becoming a Certified Specialist

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member of the California Bar in good standing

Skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Legal research and drafting proficiency

• Client-focused with problem-solving aptitude

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks independently

• Experience with estate planning, trust and probate, or business transactions a plus

• Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience a plus
