The candidate will assist a licensed patent attorney in assessing whether inventions are new and innovative and therefore eligible to be patented. Will utilize research and analytical knowledge and experiences in the disciplines of science, law and language, and assist in leading individual inventors or companies through the required process to obtain a patent and to evaluate whether activities might be infringing a valid patent. Should have a Master's degree in electrical engineering with background knowledge of semiconductor device fabrication and integrated circuits operation, and registration or limited recognition to practice matters before the USPTO. Must have limited recognition before the USPTO.
