Part-time Legal Receptionist / Assistant
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the firm’s client databases and initial communications with prospective clients via telephone and email. Responds to client inquiries, performs client intakes, generates invoices, calendars and prepares appointments, creates and maintains client files (physical & electronic), communicates with insurance providers and generates bills and other functions as needed. Reports to and works closely with the paralegal and Operations Manager. Provide some legal support to the firm’s attorneys, specifically aiding the paralegal with overflow legal work. Must be punctual, reliable, have strong multi-tasking ability and must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must also have a pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills. Should have strong computer skills, be familiar with adobe, email systems, Windows, and Microsoft Office. A working knowledge of CLIO and Dropbox is highly desired. Should have 1+ year of experience working in an administrative capacity. Must have Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate (Relevant legal experience can substitute for either requirement).
Working hours: approximately 25 - 30 hours a week.
Note: This is a fixed term contract position for 3-6 months.
