A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney in Goose Creek, SC. This role requires a seasoned attorney to manage personal injury cases, evaluate liability and damages, negotiate with insurance companies, and guide clients through the legal process.

Duties

• Manage a personal injury caseload.
• Review liability, damages, medical treatment, coverage, and case strategy.
• Communicate with clients and guide them through the case process.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
• Prepare cases for litigation when needed.
• Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and leadership to move cases efficiently.
• Help maximize case value while delivering excellent client service.

Requirements

• 5+ years of personal injury experience.
• Experience handling auto wreck, motorcycle, premises liability, dog bite, trucking, or serious injury cases.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to evaluate liability, causation, damages, and case value.
• Experience dealing with insurance adjusters and defense counsel.
• Strong client communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Litigation experience.
• Smart Advocate experience is a plus.
• South Carolina Bar admission required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the South Carolina Bar.
