Duties:

• Manage an independent caseload, predominantly involving traffic-related incidents and premises liability

• Oversee the full lifecycle of litigation—from pleadings and discovery through trial or settlement

• Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case progression

• Conduct client meetings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances

• Draft motions, legal briefs, and settlement proposals

• Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance representatives

• Maintain compliance with procedural requirements and case deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in personal injury law (either claimant or defense side)

• Demonstrated ability to manage a litigation docket independently

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Motivation to deliver favorable results in a fast-paced legal environment

• Spanish language proficiency is advantageous

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida
