Litigation Legal Assistant/File Clerk

The candidate will be responsible for all day-to-day filing related duties. Will be sorting and filing legal documents, creating and updating file indexes in document management system, maintaining file room and all case file drawers and tracking open and closed cases. Arrange for sending and retrieving closed files to and from off-site storage. Other duties include updating binders, conference room set-ups, lifting and moving boxes of approximately 20 - 40 lbs., keeping general office areas organized and assisting attorneys, paralegals, and secretaries with various projects as needed. Cover tasks such as monitoring printers for supplies daily, CD/DVD duplication, scanning documents and saving to the system. Must have 1+ year of filing or office/admin experience. Prior legal background is a preferred.
