Workers' Compensation Injury Lawyer

The candidate will maintain contact with clients from assignment through settlement. Develop and revise appropriate legal strategies for discovery, investigation, mediation, handling, and trial/hearing of cases; represent clients in court and/or agencies. Research applicable legal remedies for cases or clients. Submit necessary and appropriate documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and/or settlement negotiations as required. Conduct appropriate discovery, hearings, trial depositions, oral arguments, mediations, and/or other legal proceedings relevant to personal injury. Meet with and/or communicate with clients ensuring proper communication and understanding of case proceedings throughout the case. Negotiate case settlement as appropriate. Provide direction to the Workers’ Compensation Team Lead and Case Managers as it pertains to cases assigned. Act as a team member of the attorney team, Workers’ Compensation case manager team, and other respective firm teams. Perform administrative functions related to the practice of the law and firm. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Meet expectations of GRACES protocol at all times to ensure client satisfaction with services rendered by the firm. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Should have J.D. Degree; licensed with Oklahoma Bar Association. Previous trial experience is preferred.
