Position Overview:
This full-time position involves a wide range of administrative and legal support tasks to keep our attorneys organized and responsive to client needs. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Opening and closing client files
• Communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Drafting letters, legal correspondence, and court documents (briefs, motions, etc.)
• Managing emails, faxes, and general office filing
• Supporting attorneys with calendar management and tracking upcoming deadlines
• Completing assigned administrative and legal projects as needed
• Transcribe dictated notes and recordings from tape into accurate, formatted documents

Qualifications:

• Experience with E-courts filings (NY/ NJ) with a focus on Civil and Appellate divisions, PACER, ACMS, JEDS, WestLaw/ Thomson
• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work independently
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet research, and document management
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must maintain confidentiality and always demonstrate sound judgment
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with a positive attitude
