Job Overview:
A respected law firm in Delaware is seeking a full-time mid-level Attorney with at least three years of civil litigation experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of legal professionals in a client-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing, negotiation, and litigation skills, and be prepared to manage cases from inception through resolution.

Location:

• Georgetown, Delaware

• On-site position (Monday to Friday schedule)

Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy

• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and legal correspondence

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations

• Negotiate settlements with a focus on client advocacy

• Maintain organized and up-to-date case files and documentation

• Communicate with clients to understand objectives and provide strategic legal advice

• Monitor changes in legislation and case law relevant to active matters and firm practice areas

• Collaborate with internal legal team on complex matters as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation

• Strong background in legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy

• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines independently

• Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw (preferred)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Delaware (required)
