A law firm seeks a Pre-Litigation Attorney to join their team in Kansas City, KS. This full-time, in-office position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals advocating for injured clients.

Duties

• Meet with clients and potential clients to discuss their cases.
• Handle case files and prepare cases for demand.
• Present cases to the Focus Group and negotiate settlements.
• Attend court hearings for approval and serve as second chair in trials.

Requirements

• Must have a Kansas bar license or be taking the next bar exam.
• Dual-licensing in Kansas and Missouri required for Kansas City office.
• Experience in personal injury law is preferred but not necessary.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar license in Kansas; Missouri license preferred for Kansas City office.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
