A law firm seeks a Patent Agent to join the Intellectual Property group in Chicago, Denver, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Washington DC, or Wilmington. This role involves engaging in all aspects of patent preparation and prosecution.

Duties

• Draft and prosecute patent applications related to electrical, software, or computer science technologies.
• Collaborate with team members in a client-focused environment.
• Engage in patent preparation and prosecution activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Two or more years of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
• Experience with AI and machine learning patents preferred.
• Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
