Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Attorney in Southern Pines, NC. This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional legal services across North and South Carolina.

Duties

  • Manage a caseload independently from inception through resolution.
  • Attend court proceedings including trials, motion hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, discovery, and legal memoranda.
  • Communicate with clients, brokers, lenders, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
  • Collaborate with team members across multiple offices.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina and/or South Carolina.
  • 1+ years of experience preferred; new graduates considered for associate roles.
  • Experience in litigation, real estate, or creditors' rights strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina and/or South Carolina.

Skills

  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage cases independently.
