Tax Accountant

The candidate will collaborate with the firm’s external accountants, the Finance Group, and the firm’s federal tax attorneys in producing the annual 1065 as well as partner K-1s. Will oversee all state tax compliance. This effort will include determining which states in which to file as well as scheduling, filing, and paying all state taxes. Work with the firm’s Finance Group and SALT tax attorneys in overseeing local tax compliance. Local taxes would include Ohio’s net profit tax compliance as well as the impact of workplace flexibility on SALT issues. Collaborate with our external accountants and oversee the firm’s international tax compliance. This will include VAT filings as well as the completion of foreign tax returns. Must have a CPA with a minimum of 3 of public accounting experience. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance is required. Must have conversant in local and international tax. Strong attention to detail is required. Must have project management skills. Should have Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. Masters in Tax Preferred. Must have 3-5 years of experience in a similar field. Public Accounting experience as a tax CPA Preferred. CPA Certification is required.
