Duties

• Be a strategic part of a defense litigation team providing excellent client representation.
• Participate in trial preparation, including case strategy, discovery, and records review.
• Conduct client and witness interviews.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare and argue motions.
• Write compelling and thoroughly researched briefs and legal memorandums.
• Research and analyze complex litigation areas.

Requirements

• Experience in defense litigation.
• Expertise in taking and defending depositions.
• Ability to research and investigate complex litigation areas.
• Excellent writing abilities.
• License to practice law in Alabama.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Alabama.
