A prestigious international law firm is seeking a mid-level to senior Structured Credit / CLO Associate Attorney to join its high-performing team in New York. The ideal candidate will contribute to a wide range of transactions involving collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), securitizations, asset-based lending, and other sophisticated financial arrangements, with regular client engagement and deal team responsibilities.

Duties

• Serve as a key member of deal teams advising on CLO transactions and other structured credit matters

• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents for securitizations, syndicated lending, and asset-based lending deals

• Collaborate with partners and clients across all phases of structured finance transactions

• Provide legal counsel to leading asset managers and global investment banks

• Assist in structuring complex financial products and coordinating closings

• Contribute to ongoing client relationship management and business development initiatives

Requirements

• 2–8 years of relevant experience in CLOs or structured finance at a law firm or financial institution

• Familiarity with securitization structures, asset-based lending, and related regulatory considerations

• Ability to manage multiple matters and work within a fast-paced, deal-driven environment

• Demonstrated capability to work directly with clients and lead transaction components

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in New York and in good standing

Skills

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of complex financial products

• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with attention to detail
