Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable associate attorney to join our growing team in Irvine, CA. The attorney will work hands-on from the inception of cases to trial, supported by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team. The litigation work involves a broad range of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, elder abuse, and sexual abuse. This role provides the opportunity to be actively involved in litigation, including taking and defending depositions, conducting discovery, attending mediations, arguing law and motion, and serving as either first or second chair in arbitrations and/or jury trials. Our firm focuses on litigation to obtain maximum recovery for clients and does not settle for less due to pre-litigation constraints.

Duties:

• Manage personal injury cases, including auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, elder abuse, and sexual abuse, from inception to trial.
• Take and defend depositions, manage discovery, and attend mediations.
• Argue law and motion in court.
• Serve as first or second chair in arbitrations and/or jury trials.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and ensure maximum client recovery.
• Provide effective advocacy on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• Member of the California Bar.
• Superior drafting, writing, and research skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively advocate on clients’ behalf.
