Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Richmond is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with preferably 2+ years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to civil litigation cases, including conducting legal research, providing legal advice, negotiating settlements, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in court. They will collaborate with senior attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective representation and resolution of cases.

Duties:

• Handle day-to-day tasks related to civil litigation cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Provide legal advice to clients.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Virginia.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in civil litigation.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in Virginia.
