This role focuses on handling a wide range of insurance coverage matters with a strong emphasis on litigation, research, and client representation. Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive file reviews and detailed legal analyses of claims and causes of action

• Perform extensive legal research and draft briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and appellate documents

• Maintain an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours

• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and depositions

• Draft and respond to discovery requests

• Collaborate with expert witnesses and manage expert involvement

• Prepare for trial and attend trial proceedings

• Participate in occasional travel as necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage matters preferred

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

• Active bar admission in Florida; additional admissions are a plus

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

• Proficient in legal research and exceptional written and oral advocacy skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive both independently and within a team

• Commitment to timely communication through email and telephone

• High level of client service and professional demeanor

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited institution

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar (mandatory)

• Admission to additional state bars (optional but advantageous)
