Legal Counsel
The candidate will negotiate commercial transaction agreements, including data licensing agreements, professional service agreements, reseller agreements, insertion orders, and content licensing agreements. Will evaluate issues from legal and business perspectives with a practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving and handle complex business and legal issues in a fast-paced, agile, and evolving technology-driven business environment. Furthermore, support strategic initiatives, including cutting-edge technology and regulatory support. There is potential for expansion of duties and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the continued growth of the legal department as the department ramps up to meet the demands for Firms rapidly expanding business. Work closely with the in-house legal team members, outside Counsel, and multiple client groups/functional departments at all company levels.
