Legal Counsel - E-mobility US

The candidate will support the company's E-Mobility business and its related functions. Will be expected to support the E-Mobility Legal Counsel, North America (NAM) in facilitating project financing activities with a background in structured finance transactions and infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Work with a heavy emphasis on contract drafting. Support contract negotiation as well as general legal-related issues relating to all E-Mobility NAM projects. Coordinate E-mobility NAM business's legal entities corporate governance through the legal functions or external counsels and work with such parties to facilitate any necessary E-Mobility NAM business reorganization or any future Joint Venture initiatives. Analyze legal issues requested by the General Counsel of the company's E-mobility or E-Mobility Legal Counsel, North America and provide general legal advice and support in conducting internal and external compliance investigations and due diligence in compliance with the company's policies. Deliver legal and integrity training. Deal directly in coordinating and advising internal clients and liaising and negotiating with external parties. Should have a Bachelor of Law or a Juris Doctor from a reputable law school, with a common law qualification being preferred. Must have 7+ years of experience practicing commercial law, either as a private practice associate or as an in-house corporate legal counsel. Must also have experience with structured finance transactions and infrastructure and renewable energy projects, consumer law. Having experience in a similar industry with automotive, EV charging business knowledge will be an advantage. Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, including construction and energy contracts would be beneficial.
